About Tally & Measure

A practical reference for small calculations

Tally & Measure is an independent information website for people who need to work out a percentage, count dates, or convert an everyday measurement. The name describes the work: tally the quantity, identify the measure, and check the assumptions before using the answer. The tools are accompanied by worked examples and guides. A bare result can hide a wrong denominator, an extra endpoint, or a different kind of gallon. Our aim is to make those choices visible. Example prices and quantities are invented teaching inputs and are labeled illustrative; they are not market prices, quotes, or recommendations.

What this site covers

We cover basic arithmetic, the Gregorian calendar, and selected US customary and metric units. We do not provide live tax rates, authoritative filing deadlines, investment advice, medical dosing, engineering certification, or legal advice. No professional credentials, endorsements, or independent expert review are claimed.
